Katharine has been a speaker with Care for the Family for over twenty years; touring the country with their most popular events on parenting and marriage. Her career with the charity started as marriage manager where she developed their marriage and couple relationship work, including pioneering The National Couple Support Network, which provided marriage preparation courses through the UK Register Offices.
As an established speaker she has addressed thousands of people across the UK as well as internationally; from being a regular voice on national and local media including BBC news and feature programmes, Radio 5, Radio 4; to speaking at parenting events for businesses such as Towerbrook Capital Partners, Royal Bank Scotland, Credit Suisse Banks, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Amazon.
She is regularly invited by schools and academies across the UK to give lectures, speak to parents and deliver workshops. She has also spoken at popular book festivals: Glasgow Book Festival Aye Write, Scottish Books Long Weekend, Independent Children’s Book Festival and Qatar Book group.
Katharine is often invited to speak to churches and at third sector events, and is a popular speaker at festivals and conferences, including Keswick Convention, The Orchard, Spring Harvest, New Wine, Wildfires and New Horizons.
Internationally, she has been a keynote speaker for the International Commission on Couple and Family Relations, has attended speaking tours in South Africa and spoken at conferences in Malta and Berlin.
